Justified Health ("Justified," "we," "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your information. This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard data when you use our services.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly:
- Contact information (name, email, organization, role) when you request a demo or create an account
- Clinical data entered into the platform for appeal generation (patient demographics, clinical findings, denial details)
- Usage data (pages visited, features used, session duration)
Protected Health Information (PHI)
Justified processes PHI as a Business Associate under HIPAA. We maintain a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with each customer. PHI entered into the platform is:
- Encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256)
- Never used to train machine learning models
- Accessible only to authorized users within your organization
- Retained only as long as needed to provide the service, then securely deleted upon request
How We Use Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and improve the appeal generation service
- Respond to demo requests and support inquiries
- Send product updates (with your consent; you can opt out anytime)
- Maintain audit logs for compliance purposes
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share information only with:
- Infrastructure providers (hosting, databases) under BAAs where PHI is involved
- As required by law or legal process
Data Retention
Account and contact data is retained while your account is active. Clinical data and generated appeals are retained per your organization's configured retention period. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing privacy@justifiedhealth.com.
